🔗 Connections and Integrations

Connect all the channels and external services your hotel uses with HotelChatBook.

What is the Connections module?​

The Connections module is your hotel's integrations hub in HotelChatBook. From here you can connect communication channels, payment gateways, and calendar synchronization services.

Access it from: Connections in the side menu (/connections).

The main screen shows all available integrations along with their current status:

1. Web Widget (Chat on your website)​

Minimum plan: Freemium

The Web Widget is the embeddable chatbot that appears on your website as a floating button.

Visual customization​

  • Primary color: color of the chat button and header
  • Hotel logo: image that appears in the widget header
  • Welcome message: first automatic message when the chat opens
  • Position: bottom-right corner (default) or bottom-left
  • Input field text: placeholder for the chat input

Get the embed code​

  1. Go to Connections → Web Widget
  2. Click "View embed code"
  3. Copy the JavaScript snippet
  4. Paste it into your website before the </body> tag

The widget appears on your website in less than 1 minute after installing the snippet.

You can also share a direct link without embedding: tuhotel.hotelchatbook.io — useful for sending via WhatsApp or social media as a contact link.

2. WhatsApp Business​

Connect your own number (via 360dialog)​

  1. In Connections → WhatsApp Business, click "Connect number"
  2. Select "Your own number"
  3. Enter your Account SID and Auth Token from 360dialog
  4. Click "Verify connection" — it takes ~2 minutes
  5. Expected status: connected

ChatBook is a technology provider verified by Meta.

Message templates​

WhatsApp requires Meta-approved templates to start conversations:

  • Go to Connections → WhatsApp Business → Templates
  • Manage active templates (booking confirmation, payment reminder, etc.)
  • New templates take 24–48h to be approved by Meta
  • Within the 24h window (in reply to a guest's message), the bot can respond without a template

Sending WhatsApp templates is charged per message and is funded from your Wallet balance.

3. Stripe Connect​

Minimum plan: Matrix

Lets you receive payments from your guests with international cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Configure Stripe Connect​

  1. Click "Connect with Stripe"
  2. You will be redirected to Stripe to create or link your Stripe Connect account
  3. Once completed, you automatically return to the dashboard with status connected
  4. The bot can generate payment links to send to guests during booking

4. Wompi (Colombia)​

Minimum plan: Matrix

Payment gateway for the Colombian market: PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia, local debit/credit card.

Configure Wompi​

  1. Click "Connect Wompi"
  2. Enter your Public Key and Private Key from Wompi (obtained from the Wompi panel)
  3. The system verifies the connection
  4. Once active, the bot can generate Wompi payment links for Colombian guests

5. Google Calendar​

Minimum plan: Matrix

Syncs the hotel's bookings with Google Calendar for team visibility.

Configure Google Calendar​

  1. Click "Connect Google Calendar"
  2. Authorize with your Google account (OAuth)
  3. Select the calendar where you want the bookings to appear
  4. New bookings sync automatically to the calendar

6. Google Sheets​

Minimum plan: Freemium

Import and export hotel information from/to Google spreadsheets.

  • Export leads: automatic synchronization of leads to a Google Sheets spreadsheet
  • Import availability: load room availability from a spreadsheet

7. iCal​

Minimum plan: Freemium

Generates an iCal calendar URL compatible with:

  • Google Calendar
  • Apple Calendar (Mac / iPhone)
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Any app compatible with the iCal standard (.ics)

The iCal calendar updates automatically with the hotel's confirmed bookings.

8. Facebook / Instagram​

Minimum plan: Matrix

Connecting Facebook and Instagram requires activation by a UNOZERO platform administrator. Contact the support team to enable it.

Once active, direct messages from your Facebook page and Instagram account appear directly in the Conversations module, alongside those from WhatsApp and Web Chat.

9. PMS Integration​

Dedicated route: PMS Integration in the side menu (/pms-integration)

The integration with Property Management Systems has its own section in the menu due to its complexity. Compatible PMSs: LobbyPMS, Hossrom, FNS Rooms, Erbon.

Once connected, the bot queries real availability directly from your PMS during each conversation.
